Step 3: Click on the Owner tab, if you are using administrator account, click on the administrator from the list. Otherwise, select your username from the name list. For taking ownership of the contents of the folder, select the change permissions button.
Step 4: Click on your account and select edit option, then choose the permissions. After giving the permission click on OK button and check whether you are getting the access to the partition.
If you didn't get the access to the partition by applying the first method, the go through the second method.
Step 1: Click on the windows icon (Start Menu) and search for command prompt. Right-click on it and select Run as Administrator.
Step 2: Type the command: chkdsk/r and boot it in safe mode. Now you will get the access to the partition.
Step 1: Right click on the partition, which shows the error and select the properties.
Step 2: Click on the Tools tab.
Step 3: You can see an error checking option, click on the Check button, it will start scanning your partition and fix the errors. Click on the Ok button and check whether the partition is accessible or not.
